This week, Peace Boat US is taking part in The Uranium Film Festival in Brooklyn, NY.
Held in the Pavilion Theater, the festival is a part of the international effort to raise nuclear awareness through art. This year, it comes for the first time to Washington DC and New York, to put Human Rights under the spotlight and the consequences of nuclear power, atomic bombs, uranium mining, and depleted uranium weapons.
Peace Boat US is co-sponsoring the event, and is thrilled to support such ground-breaking films. The festival will be held February 14-19th.
